Pre-Development

Pre-Product Development services are ideal for those who may only have a product idea or concept for either apparel or non apparel and are looking for professional insight to help develop the design elements.  A Design Consultation with one of our SW team members would be your first step before moving to Product Development.  Please fill out our Development Intake form if interested in services.

We also offer Sourcing Consultations for those who may just need help with options and/or connections to the right fabric and materials. Schedule Sourcing Consultation here.

    • Create list for client of every item and source for future reference

    • Advise on best types of materials for the specific item to be made such as:

      • assortment of fibers

      • Width and weight of fabric

      • Weave

      • US-made versus overseas

      • colors, natural & pigment dies

      • shrinkage

      • Special considerations (ie. colorfast, wicking, UV repellant, etc)

  • Our sourcing manager has over 30 years experience with sourcing, and a deep knowledge of fabrics and trim. She can help you track anything down. In the US or overseas. She is available for paid hourly consultations and is also included as part of our Development packages.

You will be responsible for ensuring the items go to the right location and providing tracking information to our production coordinator.
