Tucked near 96th Street in Indianapolis, The French Seam is a charming mother-daughter–owned shop that’s been inspiring makers since 2011. This boutique is full of beautiful, high-quality fabrics, notions, and patterns and all at prices that won’t break the bank. Crimson Tate
Right on Mass Ave, Crimson Tate is a bright, happy boutique that specializes in modern fabrics and quilting supplies. You’ll find designer fabrics, threads, notions, and patterns —plus kits and bundles that make starting a new project a breeze. Select Sewing Service
Family-owned since 1953, Select Sewing Service has been a staple for Indianapolis makers. Located on Keystone Ave, this shop is all about keeping creativity alive. Offering everything from traditional supplies to classes and even machine repair services. They’re trusted by sewists for good reason!
Persnickety Stitchers
If needlework is your thing, you’ll love Persnickety Stitchers, located near Zionsville. Just outside Indianapolis in Avon, Love It Sew is another mother-daughter–owned sewing and quilting shop that offers a spacious selection of fabrics, machines, notions, and classes. With a recent move to a larger location, they’ve expanded their offerings to help you jump straight into holiday sewing projects with confidence and enthusiasm.
Always in Stitches
Over in Noblesville, Always In Stitches is a destination for makers of every kind — from sewists to quilters, knitters to fiber artists. Spanning more than 9,000 square feet, the shop offers a wide selection of fabrics, yarns, wools, notions, and machine sales and repair services.
