Whether you are an emerging fashion designer, fiber artist, or sewing enthusiast, we have the space and the tools to make your design aspirations come to life.

Private Studio

  • Includes Key Holder and a dedicated 12’ x 12’ studio space, following an initial lease of 3 months.

  • Two studios are available for private rental at $350 and $300, based on the size of the studio.

    • $100 refundable equipment damage deposit.

Key Holder

  • Additional storage space can be added with full, 24/7, access to StitchWorks equipment and resources with a personal key through the main exterior entrance.

    • $150/month, with an initial lease of 3 months.

    • $100 refundable equipment damage deposit.

Code Holder

  • Gives entry via a code-access lock inside the Stutz building during the Stutz building hours.

    • $100/month with an initial lease of 3 months

    • $100 refundable equipment damage deposit.

FAQ

  • Yes, all membership tiers require an initial 3-month commitment. After that, they can be renewed on a month-to-month basis.

  • All members receive access to:

    • Industrial sewing machines

    • Cutting tables and tools

    • Ironing/Pressing stations

    • Shared or private storage (based on membership level)

    • StitchWorks Slack community and monthly studio schedule

  • Yes. Members can upgrade to a different tier after the initial 3-month term if space allows.

  • StitchWorks provides professional-grade equipment and tools. You’re welcome to bring personal tools, but the basics are available onsite.

  • Yes. You must provide a Certificate of Insurance with general liability coverage. If you have assistants, they must be covered by your policy as well.

  • In order for any collaborators to utilize the Stitchworks space and equipment, they must also be a member and have completed a Skill 1 course.

    Private Studio renters can have guests in their space, which can be used for independent projects, small-batch production, or collaborative work with others in the community. Guests who are not members cannot use community equipment.

  • If you enjoy sewing as a hobby or a creative outlet, we definitely recommend one of our memberships! In order to utilize Stitchworks equipment, we’ll need you to take a Skill 1 course or setup a private class to learn the industrial machines.
