Description: Get ready for the season with our summer Basic Construction class project - the fabulous Wide Leg Wrap Pant! These pants are the epitome of comfort and versatility, easily transitioning from casual to chic. Imagine wrapping these wide-leg gems around your waist and securing them front and back for a perfect fit. The pattern is super adaptable, working brilliantly with a variety of fabrics to match your style or purpose. Let's create the perfect summer look together!

The class will begin with a brief lesson on measuring our bodies to accurately determine the right pattern size for our pants. We will then proceed to cutting our fabrics and selecting thread colors. This project can be completed swiftly, utilizing both the overlock and straight stitch machines. Students are responsible for bringing their own woven fabric to the class. The fabric should be a light to mid-weight fabric. No knits or stretchy materials are allowed. We suggest linen, cotton, flowy polyester, or silk-like materials. The wrap pants pattern is offered for waist sizes ranging from 24"- 40". About 5.5 to 6.5 yards of fabric is required. More details of fabric will be shared via email once registered for the class.

FABRIC AND SUPPLIES:

-StitchWorks will proved pattern, thread, and all equipment needed

-Student is responsible for 5.5 - 6.5 yard of light- mid weight woven fabric

COURSE DURATION: 4.5 hours

This class is self passed. Some students may complete project early and are welcome to free sew or leave early

PREREQUISITE: Industrial Sewing, Skill 1 required

LEVEL: Intermediate

MINIMUM AGE: 16
