Prerequisite: Into Industrial Sewing, Skill 1 (Don’t register for this class if you haven’t taken a Skills 1 class!)

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Description: This 4.5 hour class is designed to give students a basic understanding of the next group of skills and techniques of sewing garments and other goods. This class picks up where our Intro to Industrial Sewing, Skill 1 class ended.
Students will have the chance to learn about and work with multiple fabrics, and when their use is appropriate for the project at hand. Using both machine and hand sewing techniques, the skills practiced will include different ease, hem and seam techniques, for example a baby hem or french seam. As well as more garment or lite alteration focused skills such as darts, sewing a button, and taking up a hem.
CLASS CANCELLATION: We reserve the right to cancel class if not enough students sign up to participate. Should that happen, you will receive a full refund.
