Holiday Open Sew is an opportunity for past StitchWorks students, graduates of the Industrial Sewing Certificate program and/or Summer Fashion Teen program to continue working on the skills learned in Intro to Industrial Sewing/ Skills 1 class and create their own projects. Only those who have completed SW Intro to Industrial Sewing/ Skill 1 class are permitted for Open Sew.
This 5 hour open sew, monitored by a StitchWorks' team member, is an opportunity to get started on those handmade Christmas presents ! You’ll have access to StitchWorks’ industrial straight stitch and sergers (overlock) machines.
You must bring all your own materials, and project pattern/instructions. StitchWorks will have basic color thread available. It is recommended to bring thread if you would like to match color of your project.
PREREQUISITE: Intro to Industrial Sewing/Skill 1
WHAT’S PROVIDED: Industrial straight stitch machines and sergers/overlock machines, iron with ironing board, cutting equipment and large cutting tables. Please bring everything else.
CLASS CANCELLATION: We reserve the right to cancel class if not enough students sign up to participate. Should that happen, you will receive a full refund.
