Beginner Teen Program- June 14th-June 16th, 2023, 9:00am-2:30pm
Our three day Beginner Teen Program is perfect for teens aged 14-19, who have little to no sewing experience, and are interested in building their sewing and construction skills in preparation of entering the fashion industry or simply to gain the valuable skills of making their own clothes. Students will learn the differences between home and industrial sewing, and have the opportunity to show their creativity. Along with application of different tools, accessories and materials used in sewing, students will have the opportunity to learn hand sewing skills as well as use industrial straight stitch machines and sergers.
A total of three projects will be completed, scrunchy, tote, and shorts or skirt. We wrap up the week with a mini fashion photo shoot. Teen will have the chance to model their creations.
