Prerequisite: Intro Industrial Sewing, Skill 1 AND Skill 2, and a preference of at least 1 Basic Construction class

CLASS DESCRIPTION:This 5 Hour class is designed to give students an introduction to the basics of garments alterations. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the basic principles and techniques needed for the alteration of garments. This class will touch on a variety hemming techniques as well methods of resizing garments. It will also give an introduction to fitting and taking of/interpreting measurements in order to achieve a better garment fit.
This class will cover a Double Rolled Hem, Pant Hem using Existing Hem, Blind Stitch Hem (By Hand) lengthen/shorten, Taking and Marking Hem Measurements, and more.
CLASS CANCELLATION: We reserve the right to cancel class if not enough students sign up to participate. Should that happen, you will receive a full refund.
